<text>Dr. Kin Yip Chun, a University of Toronto researcher, was wrongfully denied a tenure-track position after serving for ten years in the Department of Physics. Despite a track record of significant achievements including over 26 publications in scientific journals and over 1.4 million dollars in research funding, Dr. Chun was passed over for tenure, was denied the opportunity to apply for further grant funding, and had his lab shut down before being evicted by campus police on only three-hours notice. After a protracted struggle, Dr. Chun was recognized by the University with an appointment to Assistant Professor.
