The article discusses the lawsuit filed against the U.S Forest Service, U.S. District Court in Phoenix, Arizona as a result of the department not being forthright in their planning for the Columbus Project and thereby violating the a number of laws, including the American Indian Religious Freedom Act, the First and Third Amendments of the Constitution, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
States that "from late 1991 to early 1992 OPIRG coordinated a coalition of campus groups against the Columbus Project. Things withered away after Lennox Cadore left.

This pamphlet provides background information regarding the issue of the University of Toronto astronomy department potentially becoming a partner in the Columbus Project. It outlines the impacts the project would have on Mt. Graham's endangered red squirrel population, the human rights violations the telescope poses to the Apache, and the ethical implications of placing scientific interests before both these concerns.
This meeting primarily discussed lobby efforts around the Mt.
