The Beguiling, 601 Markham Street, Toronto, Ontario, M6G 2L7
Context
The cover features an obituary for the great Captain George Henderson who ran Memory Lane on Markham Street and had recently passed away at age 62. It hard to imagine that many people who created zines, made art or movies or just plain smoked too much in Toronto in the eighties didn't waste copious amounts of their allowance at Memory Lane in the seventies. It was like school.
This was #2 in an unlimited series that may have ended up being pretty limited. I don't remember it running very long. [HK]
