Additional information about the item.
Danny Dos Paltas left Chile with his parents in the late 1970s to escape the oppressive Pinochet regime. He arrived as a refugee in Toronto in 1978. The zine engages with how global system of capitalism and colonialism shaped the authors' experience with racism and police brutality in Toronto. Danny also reflects on how race and racism shaped hierarchies of privilege within the local punk and hip hop community. [text by SV]
